Well I guess they'll only be a Football League club for one season, they might just as well relegate them straight off so that the Division remains fully competitive.

I completely agree .. My Town mate said to me, "the only difference the 30 point deduction means is we'll win the league by 20 not 50" haha .. Blind optimism is ripe within the Football fan!
Lovejoy Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Well I guess they'll only be a Football League club for one season, they might just as well relegate them straight off so that the Division remains fully competitive. Haven't they transfer-listed the entire 1st team?
Austin Posted 28 July 2008 Author Posted 28 July 2008 Haven't they transfer-listed the entire 1st team? They have mate snatch up Matthew Spring I say ..
Lovejoy Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 They have mate snatch up Matthew Spring I say .. Wouldn't exactly cost a bomb either...
Austin Posted 28 July 2008 Author Posted 28 July 2008 Wouldn't exactly cost a bomb either... Exactafoookingmundo! Its more the case we've got more bodies in our midfield then Michael barrymoores swimming pool! unlikely too happen. Dean Brill I say.
Father Ted Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 It is possible that they could stay up. I mean take another 15 points from Leeds last season and they would have survived (I think, may be wrong )
act smiley Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Its not impossible - they'll basically need to get a playoff-worthy total to scrape through and that counts everyone else as being starting on 0. Bournemouth and Rotherham are just counting down the days until their -15/20 is added, (albeit Rotherham are getting stupid amounts of hassle over their 'new' stadium which makes it a bit more awkward for them), so they're not actually at a HUGE disadvantage - they might be able to do it.
billyfox1 Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Good. Still think they'll be fooked on -20 but it gives them more of a chance. Don't agrre with these point deductions at all. If things carry on the way they are there won't be a league 2 in a few years.

It'll be a Sad month for football if it happens

Austin Posted 29 July 2008 Author Posted 29 July 2008 Hate to sound boring and repetitive, but if less money went to the premiership "big 4"... Sounds about right pal tbf, I know none of our players have been big profile signings, but SSN couldnt give a toss, only ever see "big 4" news .. It's a pissing joke.

Sometimes if there is a big story involving your club or one of its players you get excited and maybe text a mate to discuss it. If you were a United fan, would you text to discuss Ronny being in LA? Course not. Tvvats !

Just shows how controlled The Prem is by SS .. essentially with all the money reveniew the big four get aswell as the rest of the league from Money rights, Tv rights in itself essentially funded Keanes move to Liverpool! Its bollocks, like you said, no one gives a foook about Ronaldo in LA. It's still massive on SSN for some reason tho .. and Keanes move too Liverpool has been completely covvered since it happened yesterday, literally all there talking about like no one else exists in the world of football. its bollocks.
