If you've ever had the misfortune to hear Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone on 6Music on a Sunday evening, it sounds like the more bizarre end of that (which is saying something).

Basically a bit like some of the jazz-funk people they had on Jazz Club on the Fast Show. Just a load of blokes playing random notes for 12 minutes at a time.

Actually, BRMC is an unfair comparison for that last one. I'd only listened to a couple of tracks when I put that. That album is fantastic. I wish the bloke recorded under a less pretentious name than "Arms" though.

Brilliant album, especially 'Shitty Little Disco'.

The guy from the Walkmen has come as close to anyone I've heard recently if he's trying to imitate Dylan's drawl (at times).

Good stuff on first listen.
