SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 It's a cruise for the 'roos! There double teaming big Jesus up front. It really isn't a pretty match with how wet the pitch is.

Wycombe Fox Posted 15 October 2008 Author Posted 15 October 2008 Missed the last 10 minutes. What was the final score? The same Sopcast link will be showing Iran v North Korea at 2.30pm BST. I wonder if Kaebi will be playing?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 4nil could of easily been more top of the group now, 6 points from 2 games top 2 teams go thru out of 5 teams
purpleronnie Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Its really tough qualifying, almost as tough as the US team.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 Whats the format in the Asian section? First stage is 4 teams top 2 qualify, play each team home and away. Second stage is 5 teams top 2 qualify play each team home and away. I would say it is alot harder than Americas qualifying
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 Played against Bharain over there this morning got massively out played then had our first main chance with 20 secs left in the match and took it well to win 1-nil. Top 2 in the group go thru and were on top by 2 points and 5 points to 5 with 5 games to go and 3 of the last 4 at home. South Africa here we come.

lildave3 Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 I don't fancy your chances in South Africa if you're struggling to despatch Bahrain. Mighty footballing nation.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 November 2008 Posted 19 November 2008 I don't fancy your chances in South Africa if you're struggling to despatch Bahrain. We were missing players and because it wasn't a normal fifa international date players only arrived 24-30 hours before kick off and Bahrain wouldn't be the easiest place in the world to adapt to especially playing on a ground that was bumpy in oppresive humidity.
purpleronnie Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 Well done, I think Aussies will be fine, very good side.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 November 2008 Posted 21 November 2008 Well done, I think Aussies will be fine, very good side. The new manager has taken off were Sir Guss left us, yet to conceed a goal in a while too.
purpleronnie Posted 21 November 2008 Posted 21 November 2008 Don't want to belittle the Aussies or the Yanks but some of the qualifying groups are a joke. That said I hope they both make it, they both should.
