I want to stream my dog sleeping over the internet so I can check on him during the day and record his behaviour.

Surely if your wanting to monitor the behaviour of your dog around the house, you need some sort of CCTV sytem that you can stream over the net, record each camera and it wouldn't matter what room of the house the dog was in you would be able to pick him and his behaviour up!?

Something like this maybe?

I don't know the ins and outs of it Daggers, but you're gonna need a webcam, and can set the stream up using VLC media player.

I know how to do it the hard way - I was hoping there was something in a box someone had used. I don't mind paying cash for it because I simply can't be arsed to spend a day configuring routers, servers and fault-finding.

I'd rather install, turn on, go get pissed.

So effectively you are going to set up your house like the Big brother house. So you can spy on your dog? poor thing. It wont be able to do the things that it normally does behind your back. kinda unfair if you ask me.

Now that is a scary thought. id rather let her rip up her bed and get with dogs in peace though tbh.
