lifted*fox Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 I honestly thought that the remaining WW2 veterans from Leicester, Northampton etc. were going to die when they all walked over it today. Seen many a player slip up and fall flat on their arse on that thing... (As funny as it may be when it's the opposition, it's not long until one of our own players falls to injury on it!) How about somebody who has contact with the club mentions that it should be removed / moved elsewhere?

He could raffle if off to ST holders as one of the benefits.

Rocket-Ron Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Lets all boo the slippery mercury advetising sign... 1,2,3,4....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to the advertising sign
Munzie Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I think it should be used for an 'It's a Knock-out' style game at half time. Lets get some of the fans wearing Filbert's big boots and attempt to carry buckets of water across it while half eaten pies are hurled at them from the crowd. Match Atmosphere - sorted!
Ultra Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I agree, the sign should be removed - preferably along with the slimy Mercury "chief correspondent".
