Fosse Boy Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 but basically, anything with more than 5 words is never going to get started in the 'kop'. Anything with any hint of creatiivity, imagination or uniqueness is shouted down really quickly. It's a disgrace. You're kind of embarrassing our club mate Jesus, a Leeds fan with a bit of common sense! It's the last days of Rome!
leicesterseddon Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 hahaha silly C**T. do scum (man u) scum 2 (chelsea) still sing about u. no dont think think so! just wait till monday the walkers wont know whats hit with our fantastic support! they do actually - it's the 'we all follow the chelsea, over land and sea (AND LEICESTER)'...when we played them in the carling cup last season, tim lovejoy wrote an article about it in the matchday programme - don't think he ever found out why they sing it, think they nicked it off arsenal as they had to play us 7 times in FA cup replays one year in the 80s, or something like that. and manure might still songs about you, but i doubt chelsea give much of a shit tbh.
Tommeh Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Anyone who went peterborough away may have heard the chant they were doing.Something like: Ole Ole Ole Going Up Up Up Looked good and sounded good I'd rather watch the Tigers than steal songs off Peterborough, possibly the most small time thing I've ever heard that. Oh and plus it's shite.
step Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 To the tune of 'I'm a Lumberjack' from the famous Monty Python sketch:I'm a Leicester fan and I'm OK I sleep all night and I work all day We're all Leicester fans and we're OK We sleep all night and we work all day We all eat crisps, we say 'me duck', we all hate Coventreeee On Wednesdays we go drinking and have vindaloo for tea get it going Brill, One of the best I have heard for a long time. All you need now is a group of about 20 to get it started
Fosse Boy Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 I'd rather watch the Tigers than steal songs off Peterborough, possibly the most small time thing I've ever heard that.Oh and plus it's shite. To be honest, I think any chant is subjective. If enough people (i.e. a whole stand or even a stadium) are singing a completely mundane, generic song then it can sound quality. Whereas even the best, most original chant can sound awful when there are only a few people on the back few rows willing to make an effort to support their team. As much as I prefer creativity and imaginative chanting, I'd far rather there were loads of people partaking in a passionate, scarf waving, fifteen minute long version of Ring of Fire (like Peterborough at home) than just a few voices going through the whole repertoire without anything catching on.
