Jimmy2Drags Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Enjoy us while you can, Enjoy us while you can, We're only here a season, We're only here a season, We're only here a season. Enjoy us while you can. Don't cry for us Derby County, The truth is you touch your children. You had to promise, To not touch infants, You broke that promise, Now smell your fingers.
BrummieFOX Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Enjoy us while you can,Enjoy us while you can, We're only here a season, We're only here a season, We're only here a season. Enjoy us while you can. This is a must!! great chant! I also love the idea of, "it must be love" as a chant. Someone please get them started.
Bert Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Gradel Gradel Gradel, I love to see you play, Gradel Gradel Gradel, we're gonna win today. (It's to the tune of a Jewish song, which they sing at hunnakah)
Shrenchel Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 I never thought i'd miss you half as much as i doI never thought i'd feel this way the way i feel about you soon as i wake up, every night, every day i know its you i need to take the blues away it must be love, love, love it must be love, love, love nothing more nothing less LEICESTERS the best. Apprently sung at filbert street and in the 95 play off semi final agaisnt watford at there place. Thought I remembered hearing this at Filbo. Would be great if we got it going nowadays. Probably would have more chance of success without the first two lines, they're quite slow and with a hefty pause after each. Can't see it working if most people can't get to grips with WYS.

Enjoy us while you can. Love the words to that one!! What's the tune? Don't cry for us Derby County,The truth is you touch your children. You had to promise, To not touch infants, You broke that promise, Now smell your fingers. That's just gross. But still funny!

JakeShingler Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 And its Leicester City, Leicester City FC Were by far the greatest team, And were top of the league!!!
sbfox Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 And its Leicester City, Leicester City FCWere by far the greatest team, And were top of the league!!! Yeah... to be quite honest, that deserves the shaking head smiley. I'd rather we have a few REALLY well sung chants, rather than lots of little ones that only L1 and some of the Kop are going to sing. Imagine 20000 in the Walkers singing 'when you're smiling'! Alright, neither can I (soul-less bowl that it is....), but I reckon we need to get more of the crowd at least singing before we start lots of new chants....

We've had a very limited number of chants for a few years now and this has certainly not inspired the whole ground to join in. A lot of people clearly just don't want to sing, it's nothing to do with an extensive and complicated song book. We could sing I love you Leicester on repeat until 2050 and there would still be about 10,000 people sat in silence.
leicesterseddon Posted 25 November 2008 Posted 25 November 2008 To the tune of 'I'm a Lumberjack' from the famous Monty Python sketch: I'm a Leicester fan and I'm OK I sleep all night and I work all day We're all Leicester fans and we're OK We sleep all night and we work all day We all eat crisps, we say 'me duck', we all hate Coventreeee On Wednesdays we go drinking and have vindaloo for tea get it going

Yeah very true,Like i said in a prev post even in L1 its like sitting with the prawn sandwich bragade(the missing drum doesnt help thou!!) Nice responce from the board though as its been spoken about time after time. There was a good 1 sang in L1 a couple of months back now about Tunchev being a refugee was quite funny but havent heard it since, I do think Andy King deserves a decent chant after his recent performances. Also people dont like Right Side/Left Side but it works its one of the few chants that gets the most people singing.
Tilley Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 Also people dont like Right Side/Left Side but it works its one of the few chants that gets the most people singing. Simply awful at the Walkers. Not a home game chant.
SemperEadem Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 The left side/right side in K against Crewe was painfully embarassing!
Bert Posted 26 November 2008 Posted 26 November 2008 Stevenage took RS-LS to A new low. It's best sung at aways, cos it sounds quite good and the home fans always comment on it.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 26 November 2008 Author Posted 26 November 2008 Yeah i think the school kids had cheap tickets last night in K block(some really F*****ing anoying teenage girls) in the defence of L1 it is always K block to start it off....its just rude not to reply and it might help if all those slagging off right side/left side actully sung themselves not aimed at anyone but same folk singing week in week out
Shrenchel Posted 27 November 2008 Posted 27 November 2008 Yeah i think the school kids had cheap tickets last night in K block(some really F*****ing anoying teenage girls) in the defence of L1 it is always K block to start it off....its just rude not to reply and it might help if all those slagging off right side/left side actully sung themselves not aimed at anyone but same folk singing week in week out I hear that. I'm not a fan of left side/right side but I'd rather sing that than sit in silence. A lot of people around me at games last season would moan it was shit but I wouldn't hear a note out of them all game.
