  • where is the cheapest place to buy

Think i may need some more RAM but i already have 2gb's which is pretty good yeah....

2 gig memory is good, but not ninja anymore, but I wouldn't worry about that.

The main thing about getting a new processor is knowing what socket your m/board has, since you'll need to buy a processor that will fit your m/board. If you have manuals or box that the motherboard came in it should tell you on there... or open your PC and have a look. Just make sure you turn it off 1st and earth yourself!

Hope that helps.

After Christmas i will have £75 to spend on a new processor. (Will i get a good one)

Where abouts on my motherboard will it tell me the model etc?

Standard one that came with a Pakard Bell Pc. if that helps.

PC about 3 years old.

Take off side panel and it should be in big white letters.
