Tommeh Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Looking at going away April/ May time, (well probably as soon as the footie season finishes) for a few months doing some football coaching abroad, preferbly America. It's basically coaching over 8/9 weeks with then an extra 30 days touring different states in America. I've been through a few websites and all seem very appealing, Just wondering if any others have done anything like this in the past or are looking at it this year. Any advice on area's or experiences withthings like this would be appreciated.
JoeyB Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 It helps if you have your coaching badges. But i know one or two people who have been and enjoyed it loads
Finnegan Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 My old man used to get loads of offers about this and always really wanted to go. Bit gutting he never did, really.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Had a mate that did something similar in 2007. He really enjoyed it, got to spend the summer in America, playing football, and basically promoting Newcastle United (). Says that you'll get nowhere if you're not confident, though. Apparently you need to be assured and sociable.
