Decent idea actually, surely some sort of display at the game might be better? Everyone has an ego (not just footballers), appealing to it with a bit of love in sign form might just help a little.

Don't yet think Pearson bringing him off after bagging a hat-trick on Saturday was an attempt at a love-in? Standing ovations and all.
