Floating Fox Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 I guess everyone's boycotting our fixture at MK then?
Floating Fox Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 thanks for the support samilktray and jacksecondly there was a club in milton keynes a few years back on the verge of the league, MK City, they went bust and there was one main reason for this... the financial involvement of Wimbledon Football Club, WFC used MK City as a marketing bracket which i believe was to sell their programmes, after this became an illegal act in football they moved all funds out of MK City and pillaged it for all it was worth leaving them crippled and they went bust a season later. the current guise of mk city is a mercedes benz work team (those dirty franchisers!) You really shouldn't take anything they say seriously, wether in support or against you. Let me set you straight on a few things about MK city, they went bust because of MK dons. The didn't have any big financial backing and thats why they never shot up the leagues and kind of lingered around. They were sturgling for backing and needed new directors, if you tw at of a chairman actually wanted to do it properly he could of by buying MK city. At least they would have been doing it the proper way, even if they would have had ridiculous amounts of money for non-league standards, and would probably have been hated by non-league annoracks (The ones who hate AFC telford etc). They got no-financial investor and therefore went bust. And a non-league name change is completly different to up-rooting a club and moving it 60 miles!
Samilktray Posted 19 December 2008 Posted 19 December 2008 :laugh:You really shouldn't take anything they say seriously, wether in support or against you. I know. Damn us for not having a problem with MK Dons.
C-man Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 I guess everyone's boycotting our fixture at MK then? Why would we all boycott an LCFC fixture? I don't like MK Dons because of the way their club was 'formed', but I don't hate them like I hate Leeds. I want it to be a woeful 0-0 draw tomorrow, because it is probably the best result for City. Despite my hatred for Leeds, I hope they win so us and Millwall can pull away from the pack. NO. Why do you want Millwall to pull away with us? Okay, they are likely to beat Crewe tomorrow, but for god sake, it's fucking Millwall.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 21 December 2008 Author Posted 21 December 2008 Let me set you straight on a few things about MK city, they went bust because of MK dons. mk city went bust in the 1980's and in answer to a fox in essex, mk city were used by wimbledon as a section on which i believe sold programmes for wimbledon, it became illegal due to the no dual ownership rule in football now, so was not only sold on but asset stripped aswell which financially crippled the club. if the other WFC fans have a different view to me then fine, they are entitled to their view, but in the same way so am i

Assuming what you're saying is true of course...
Floating Fox Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 mk city went bust in the 1980's I like it how you always try to divert the basis of the coversation  I am talking about Mk City II, you know, the one you were talking about in the quote (The one you called a Franchise for changing the name from the Merc's Factory Team and WENT BUST IN 2003!!)
