Just out of interest. I feel great this morning, full of beans loving the festive spirit, kids loving their toys. You head off to where ever you have your Xmas Dinner, have a bit of banter pre Turkey. Then BAM Xmas dinner over, out like a light. Every sodding year, I have my Xmas dinner and NEED a snooze, I don't get it after my Sunday dinner. Is Turkey really stuffed with sedatives or is my In-laws trying to do me in (Unsuccessfully)

Hey Finners i found this today

Mary-Ann has hurt her finger,

And David the servant is not well.

The baby in the cradle is crying,

And the cat has scratched little Johnny.

A little saucepan is boiling on the fire,

A big saucepan is boiling on the floor,

And the cat has scratched little Johnny.

Little Dai the soldier,

Little Dai the soldier,

Little Dai the soldier,

And his shirt tail is hanging out.

Mary-Ann's finger has got better,

And David the servant is in his grave;

The baby in the cradle has grown up,

And the cat is 'asleep in peace'.

A little saucepan is boiling on the fire,

A big saucepan is boiling on the floor,

And the cat is 'asleep in peace'.

Little Dai the soldier,

Little Dai the soldier,

Little Dai the soldier,

And his shirt tail is hanging out.

Old Mary Jones went to the fair in Caerau,

To buy a tea set;

But Mary and her teacups ended up in a ditch,

Through the consumption of rather too much "tea".

A little saucepan is boiling on the fire,

A big saucepan is boiling on the floor,

And the cat is 'asleep in peace'

Why do you care what I do, It's called making a contribution to the forum. You see if people didn't make contributions then there wouldn't be a Forum at all. I haven't made any threads that are distasteful, offensive, more really about what I am thinking. Think about it, think about your recent thread.....crying over a girl in Melbourne on a Leicester forum... :whistle:

You don't like it block me, don't post in them, but don't whine because you have nothing to contribute.

Most people believe that Turkey is like a small sedative because it contains tryptophan (or something like that) that calms the body and can induce sleep. But I think I'm right in saying that this has been been proven false and most people now believe its due to the high amounts of carbohydrates in a christmas dinner that makes people sleepy.
