davieG Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 source Mick McCarthy last night tabled a £1.75million offer for Bristol City's Marvin Elliott. Wolves boss McCarthy has stepped up his efforts to sign the midfielder after a £1m bid for QPR's Mikele Leigertwood was rejected. And Wolves are also preparing a £1.5m swoop for Crystal Palace's Ben Watson. Midfielder Watson is out of contract in June, with Fulham and QPR both interested.
StanSP Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Don#t wanna look too much into it, but this sounds like encouraging news of us extending Davies loan again if any of these transfers go through.
C-man Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 I hope they land them, but Mark Davies is better than the pair of them put together, so I still can't see us keeping him.
andyh1884 Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Can't see Brizzle City settling for anything less than £2m for Elliott
Ultra Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 No, but they are getting another midfielder on loan. He's only 17, though...
