Jimmy Posted 31 January 2009 Share Posted 31 January 2009 Leicester City U18 1-3 Coventry City U18Posted on: Sat 31 Jan 2009 Leicester City's academy side suffered their first defeat in four games as they went down 3-1 to Coventry City at the Belvoir Drive training ground on Saturday. The Foxes had been leading at the break with a goal from Craig King (pictured) before a trio of second half strikes saw the visitors claim all three points. The home side dominated the early exchanges and had the ball in the net in the 30th minute. However the celebrations were short lived as Billy Kee was adjudged to have been in an offside position after connecting with a Luke O'Neill cross. And Leicester took the lead in the 43rd minute as good work from Kee and Ben Milnes presented King with an opening in the penalty area - the striker turned sharply and fired into the corner of the goal to make the score 1-0 at the interval. But a missed opportunity from Kee shortly after the restart would eventually prove costly as the Sky Blues responded with a hat-trick of goals over a 12-minute spell to put the game beyond the hosts. Steve Beaglehole's side return to action next Saturday when they travel to Milton Keynes Dons. City: Ambrusics, Cobb (62 Yussef), Parkes, Bolger, O'Neill, Rowe-Turner, Burns, Milnes (83 Hicks), C King, Kee, Chamberlain (83 John) http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1540205,00.html
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 January 2009 Share Posted 31 January 2009 Only one word sums up those from the 'other side' of the M69 and especially like me, if you live in the Hinckley Area, they're a bunch of SCUMMERS
