wirralsimon Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Crewe on the last day is a potential banana skin. They may well need the points to stay up and we should already be champions by then, Simon
Scow Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I do hope we get revenge on them after the smash & grab they did to us back in September. It was the most appalling game of the season, 11 men and the team bus + 15 supporters coaches parked in front of the goal. Good goal by Alexander I must admit, but it was embarrassing how negative they were. I hope we beat them by a couple at the Den. They've only scored 48 goals in 34 games, but annoyingly, they have been able to grind out a plethora of narrow wins. We have no reason to fear them.

StanSP Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 My predictions:Wednesday, 11 March 2009 Tranmere v Leicester, 19:45 D Saturday, 14 March 2009 Millwall v Leicester, 15:00 D Saturday, 21 March 2009 Leicester v Colchester, 15:00 W Saturday, 28 March 2009 Peterborough v Leicester, 12:00 D Saturday, 04 April 2009 Leicester v Carlisle, 15:00 W Saturday, 11 April 2009 Hereford v Leicester, 15:00 W Monday, 13 April 2009 Leicester v Leeds, 15:00 W Saturday, 18 April 2009 Southend v Leicester, 15:00 D Friday, 24 April 2009 Leicester v S****horpe, 19:45 D Saturday, 02 May 2009 Crewe v Leicester, 15:00 W Which is: 5 wins and 5 draws which would leave us on 98 points... Wouldn't mind that. But I think we'll pick up wins at Tranmere and Southend which would give us 102 points. Other than that, I'm not fussed getting 98 points and going unbeaten into next season!
