MC Prussian Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Wednesday, 11 March 2009 Tranmere v Leicester, 19:45Saturday, 14 March 2009 Millwall v Leicester, 15:00 Saturday, 21 March 2009 Leicester v Colchester, 15:00 Saturday, 28 March 2009 Peterborough v Leicester, 12:00 Saturday, 04 April 2009 Leicester v Carlisle, 15:00 Saturday, 11 April 2009 Hereford v Leicester, 15:00 Monday, 13 April 2009 Leicester v Leeds, 15:00 Saturday, 18 April 2009 Southend v Leicester, 15:00 Friday, 24 April 2009 Leicester v S****horpe, 19:45 Saturday, 02 May 2009 Crewe v Leicester, 15:00 I can see us losing about two more (Millwall and Peterborough away will be tough), drawing three and winning the other five (Crewe, Hereford, Carlisle, Colchester and Leeds) out of these ten. Or maybe today's win has loosened a knot and their getting back to being on fire...? Gradel to start against Tranmere? You bet!
Joe. Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Got a feeling we'll actually lose on Wednesday, but it's nice to be in this position with 10 games to go. Just got to see it out and not put pressure on ourselves with this amount of time left of the season.
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 This season may well be marked in our history as being the first time we've found ourselves amongst the third tier of english football... ...but it will go down as one of the happiest for me. So many positives to take away from this season. Lots of good memories, goals, records broken, happy times...
davieG Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 I suspect Dyer and Berner will be back on Wednesday at the expense of Gradel & Cleverly.
Halfsy Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 To be honest, and i am aware we have ten difficult games remaining, but after having gone 23 league games without defeat i can't see us losing again this season. We have had very difficult away games, such as Leeds and Milton Keynes and we have been second best at times during those games, but we have shown the resolve under Pearson to get something out of them.

Well that's done it.

MC Prussian Posted 7 March 2009 Author Posted 7 March 2009 leeds is a 12 15 kick off its on sky I know - but I might go to the Walkers instead on Easter Monday.

Pretty hard to argue with that, I'd love to break the 100 but to finish the season without a loss would be fookin marvelous
act smiley Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Blimey, is it that far along already... I feel old
maddog Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 This season has disappeared in seconds. Incredible how fast its gone.
foxaholic Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Pretty hard to argue with that, I'd love to break the 100 but to finish the season without a loss would be fookin marvelous Possible win at home re S****horpe would make a 100 points . Dont think we will manage 1oo goals but hope springs eternal .One myth exploded is that you are better off winning in a lower league as although good our gates are about 3000 down on the 3 bad years in the Championship when we went up under Micky Adams we averaged nearly 30000
Joe. Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I suspect Dyer and Berner will be back on Wednesday at the expense of Gradel & Cleverly. Why? Doubt Pearson would change a side which has just won 4-0. Hope I'm right...
C-man Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Why? Doubt Pearson would change a side which has just won 4-0. Hope I'm right... Different styles of play and tactics between Tranmere and Cheltenham. NP won't want the game to be open, especially for the first hour. I think he'll keep it tight with Berner and Dyer, but I also hope I'm wrong.
Guest Bilo Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Wednesday, 11 March 2009 Tranmere v Leicester, 19:45 2-1 WIN (81 pts) Saturday, 14 March 2009 Millwall v Leicester, 15:00 1-1 DRAW (82 pts) Saturday, 21 March 2009 Leicester v Colchester, 15:00 2-0 WIN (85 pts) Saturday, 28 March 2009 Peterborough v Leicester, 12:00 2-1 WIN (88 pts) Saturday, 04 April 2009 Leicester v Carlisle, 15:00 2-0 WIN (91 pts) Saturday, 11 April 2009 Hereford v Leicester, 15:00 1-1 DRAW (92 pts) Monday, 13 April 2009 Leicester v Leeds, 15:00 1-0 WIN (95 pts) Saturday, 18 April 2009 Southend v Leicester, 15:00 2-0 WIN (98 pts) Friday, 24 April 2009 Leicester v S****horpe, 19:45 1-1 DRAW (99 pts) Saturday, 02 May 2009 Crewe v Leicester, 15:00 3-0 WIN (102 pts) 33 games unbeaten and I win the sweepstake. Happy times!
Guest Bilo Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I don't want this season to end. Love it! I've loved it a little too much. I'll almost be sad when I see our fixture list next season with no Cheltenham, Swindon et al. Then I'll see Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday and be happy again.
Scow Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Four more wins gets us to 90 points and that will be enough. I think even 2-3 wins will do it.
AmericanScott Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Four more wins gets us to 90 points and that will be enough. I think even 2-3 wins will do it. I was just thinking about this. It would be nice to clinch promotion at home to Leeds though.
Aeropars Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Why are you lot so negative about the Milwall game? I think thats being billed as the most difficult game we have left but dont people remember how they played when they won? 11 men behind the ball and a cheeky counter attack... about the only chance they had if i remember correctly. My prediction... we'll go there and smash them for making us endure an appauling game before at the walkers. Another prediction is we'll win 7 out of the 10 left... draw the other three. The light at the end of the tunnel maybe you.... goodnight!
Koke Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I do hope we get revenge on them after the smash & grab they did to us back in September. It was the most appalling game of the season, 11 men and the team bus + 15 supporters coaches parked in front of the goal. Good goal by Alexander I must admit, but it was embarrassing how negative they were. I hope we beat them by a couple at the Den.
