detari74 Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Following a goalless first half the U18's won today 5 - 2 against Reading with goals from Schlupp (1), Yussef (2) and Kee (2) following a great performance in the second period The team was Ambrusics O'Neill Cobb Nicholas (triallist) Bolger John Milne (Moore) Hicks King (Schlupp) Chamberlain (Yussef) Kee
flanimal Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 So that's 46 goals in 43 games for Kee. I bet Bournemouth will pay us a fortune for him!
Hitesh Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Kee's last game too! Can we still win the league and go through to the Semi's? I think we had to wait on the Spurs result if I remember correctly...?
Koke Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 That Yussef kid always seems to be on the scoring sheet. Does anyone know how good he actually is?
flanimal Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 That Yussef kid always seems to be on the scoring sheet. Does anyone know how good he actually is? Worse than Barry Hayles.

He won Academy player of the season, plays every game and looks a big bastard!
Uncle Albert Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Does anyone know hoe good Bolger is?He won Academy player of the season, plays every game and looks a big bastard! I thought Elliot Chamberlain won Player of the Season?
smokey Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 I thought Elliot Chamberlain won Player of the Season? Bolger won one of the young player or Academy player awards, not sure what one.
RM87 Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Bolger won one of the young player or Academy player awards, not sure what one. He won both of them
Calum McDermott Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 That Yussef kid always seems to be on the scoring sheet. Does anyone know how good he actually is? Hes a good player. Ive played against him. He's very strong and quick.

Spurs won their game in hand so our last result was irrelevant. Spurs enter the Play Offs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_Acade...Academy_Group_B

Thracian Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Pity we had such an indifferent first half of the season and suffered a double defeat by Coventry. On the plus side. apart from Kee's latest brace, Yussef and Schlupp continued to make a goalscoring impression which augers well for next season.

I think they will be expecting quite a few things from the 18's next season and through seeing some of the players we already have and the new scholars we should have a chance. Chamberlain, Yussef and Schlupp should be able to score plenty of goals. It should be a very exciting season for the younger players. Hopefully we will sign Ollie Nicholas as well who had a great game yesterday.
