Anyone who thinks that North Korea aren't a threat need to get there facts straight. Maybe not to us but South Korea, Japan and other nearby countries yes. The fact is Kim Jong (If still alive) has brainwashed a whole nation. He lets his own people starve yet the select few soldiers and millitary and government officals eat the best food and are healthy and strong. The doctor who carries out the documentry was there to give out very basic eye treatments on cataracts and is allowed in every so often, more of a media stunt than anything. Aid has been offered on numerous occasions yet jong rejects it. The people there are obsessed with the leader and praise him at every opportunity more to do so in fear of there lives yet thousands die because of him. There is one part wheere the journalists are told off for taking photos of a statue of him and they basically threaten them and tell them they are being watched. They are also with guides 24/7 and are only shown what the guides let them i.e. nice parts. The ironic thing is Jong gets his alcohol and other luxuries imported from America including a car yet he brainwashes his nation to hate the Americans. He doesn't give a shit about anyone else accept him. The real eye opener was the stand off at the border. Soldiers from either side are trained not to blink and they literally stare at each other 24 hours a day no less than 10 metres from each other. North Korea get the biggest guys to do this and feed them better than anyone else in the army to try and intimidate and to try and give the impression that they are a representation of North Korean society. The hate towards South Korea, USA and other nations is very real and because of the countries isolation it is impossible to know what they have in store. Also don't be fooled into thinking they aren't geared up in the technology department. Like someone else stated they probably have one of the best nuculear facilitys in the world. The nature of the North Koreans is very hard working and also these guys will not step out of line as there lives are at risk. All of the money is pumped into technology whilst the nation suffers.

I can see where your coming from but there were about 8 journalists or so from differen't countries allowed in at one time including a British journalist. tbh Im not even sure if there was an American for safety reasons. You have to draw a line somewhere though and use your common sense. If you want to believe that it is propaganda to make you feel anti communist then fair enough but not everything is a conspiracy i.e. speak to any South Korean national.
