Yes. We should begin immediate deportation of all Koreans. And the Chinese as well while we're at it. They look a bit like Koreans don't they.

What do you think BlabyFox?

I might be a bit worried if I was living in Pusan, Tokyo or Anchorage....

North Korea are like a difficult child - give them attention and they scream.

From what I read, their missiles are basically shitter than your average Loughborough backstreet firework merchant and the country is poorer than a church mouse whos just arrived home to find his wife's run off with another mouse taking all the cheese.

I'm not really sure what you've been reading. Their missile technology is amongst some of the best in the world. There's a reason Iran and other nations have copied North Korean designs. It's amazing what you can produce when you're a dictator who doesn't care that his people are starving to death and so can plough all his resources into this.

Admittedly, I'm not worried by North Korea. China will reign them in. They just like to play brinkmanship.

We should only be worried if Nick Griffin doesn't win the next General Election.

As it says in Heros:-

Sorry if I am not polictally aware as some people on here...

But it seem that NK's main beef is with America so are they are going to pick on us cause we are America's ally?

No. They only just scraped through after a draw against the Saudis for fuck's sake. They'll pose no real threat in South Africa.

We are talking about the actual North Korea not the football team

We're hardly likely to be high on their list of targets, so to that end no.

The whole North Korea debarkable reminds me of Canadian Bacon, though. It's a bit of a slapstick comedy in which the American president is struggling in the opinion polls because he isn't at war with anyone so he pretends to go to war with Canada just for something to keep the arms dealers and the media happy.

We're pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan's quiet so the news need something to report on and a crackpot dictator conducting a few failed rocket launches (if he's got some of the best missile technology in the world I'd hate to see who has the worst) is ideal.

Ultimately the Chinese aren't likely to want to see North Korea pushed in an all-out war because it would surely call upon their involvement and you'd imagine their leaning on Kim and co' to hush up would do far more than any attempted diplomacy from the States or Japan.

Well as long as they don't start building any mosques in Blaby, we shouldn't.

I think your analysis of the media is wrong. This whole round of media interest in North Korea was sparked by a nuclear weapons test, that only became known because of measurements of seismic activity. Since then, it's been a case of diplomacy and brinkmanship with discussions in the UN security council and missile tests by North Korea. So it's not a case of the media focusing on this unannounced or unprovoked.

Re: North Korea's rocket technology. Thankfully, there are very few countries in the world capable of producing Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. However, North Korea are one of them. By this very measure that makes them one of the few countries with expert physicists and technology, so it wrong to think of them as just some tinpot country churning out fireworks.

Either way, I think you're right about China. I think even they are becoming fed up with North Korea's actions.

Im not too worried. I dont think this kind of thing would get that far as everyone would be in a lose lose situation. Our forces I would have thought would be too stretched for any kind of war which pretty much means if they tried anything there would be no mercy when it came to launching missiles back at them i would of thought

Why didn't the US drop a nuke on these idiots in the 50's. They fought in the Korean war which to be fair never settle anything.

I don't get why we don't just invade them once and for all. Their been asking for it for the last 60 years.
