Can we be the city of culture?

I don't think being clean and tidy forms part of the criteria for city of culture to be honest. The rest of your points about "investments in the arts" and "various other developments" sounds a bit vague and goes against what many others have said in the thread who actually live in the city.

I'm just responding to people who have said how unpleasant Leicester is, and I have the opposite view thats all ,and the times I go back to leicester there always seems to be new businesses and redevelopment going on.

cool your boots, lou...

i didn't insinuate anything of the kind, in fact i didn't even suggest you do one thing or another - read it again and you will see it is nothing more than a warning.

in fact, i went out of my way to reply to your post in a very different tone to that which i replied to Ultra's... i know you are an open and strong minded sort, i was just trying to offer an explanation to demonstrate that i don't hate the city that i grew up in - even though it has been insinuated on here that i do - have another look and i think you will see that that is the case.

ok -

Now can you just educate my Husband the same way! lol

My Boots are cooler than a Polar bears bum thanks :D

Do you not understand, that someone could think that who you describe as a non biggoted disabled, is a biggoted disabled?

I haven't described anyone as a non-bigoted disabled anywhere in this thread. :dunno:
