Mattock hands in transfer request

both stearman and mattock have been much maligned yet the sale of both players has bought in some good transfer income and is a positive reflection on the acadamy.

I wondered however if anyone has compared transfer income with expenditure since mm became chairman or is this not possible with the tendancy for undisclosed fees

My biggest concern about letting Mattock go and playing Berner was Berner's ability to handle a pacey winger.

Obviously in your post it shows Berner can deal with, it and to be fair he will get attacked and possibly targeted as the weak point in certain games. However Mattock although is quicker, was done to many times by pace.

No problem at all with this. We are at least 2 years away from being in the Baggies position so whatever you think this is a step up for him and may see him looking at his first season in the Prem in 12 months time. Good luck to him. Take the cash and move on.

Not at all... We should not be losing players to clubs like West Brom... They play at the same level as us... On a level playing field... and even at this very early stage, we have more points than them...

However, the reason why it isn't much of a problem is because we don't have to leave out a player who imo is better (Bruno Berner) to accomodate "Average Joe" in the team...

Shouldn't be losing anybody in this way to a club which is no bigger than ours, however... 2M is a good piece of business

So then we're not exactly "losing," are we?
