Converting .wps or .doc into Pdf

Just wondering if anyone knows how do as the title reads. I need to convert a wps or doc file into pdf asap!

I've searched the internet but it seems you need to pay "a small fee" in order to do so.

I can't save it as a pdf on my computer for some reason and the Adobe website is useless.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

Cute pdf is free to install on your pc. I know a few companies are using this rather than paying for Adobe. It might be useful in future.
