Fox in a Box Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Leicester City FC have had a fine history for producing goalkeepers. We also have had some goalkeepers (not home grown) that have been exceptional. Where am I going. Ok here goes, with such a fine tradition for keepers I think STUART TAYLOR is proirity Number one CL. Good teams have a solid defence and good keeper. Look at the class acts from the past BANKSY SHILTS :w00t: WALLINGTON FLOWERS WALKER (all ex england) POOLE KELLER HOULT all fine keepers. Criag we need a class keeper, we know one when we see one!! Even if Taylor is a bit more for wages look at how many goals he let in for us..... not many!
Fox in a Box Posted 12 May 2005 Author Posted 12 May 2005 Im sure he was on the bench! ONCE! errr still class thou
davieG Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Did Wallington ever play for England? 107260[/snapback] I'm sure he didn't, good set of goalies none the less Looks like it will be Rab Douglas, Scottish International unless he turns us down. I would seriously suspect he can't afford Taylor.
Fox in a Box Posted 12 May 2005 Author Posted 12 May 2005 Ok I was in error BOYS!!! PRESSMAN did he play for england pies? Wallo didnt! unless someone can prove he did..... I remember a fine save against Liverpool Kenny Dalglish we won 2-0 Andy peake.......great goal........ bring back the past please!!! RAB is ok, cant be any worse the the pieman!
SilverFox Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 christ, hes much better than pie man. If that is the worry, please don't let it be...MON wouldn't let someone like pieman play in goal for Celtic!
Fox in a Box Posted 12 May 2005 Author Posted 12 May 2005 Bring back the pie man......... ENTERTAINMENT value 10!
foxilescom Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 I think Mark Wallkington played for England Under 23.
