Floating Fox Posted 1 December 2009 Share Posted 1 December 2009 Basically I am just looking for a piece of software that will cut a track down and add another tune over the top...If that makes sense...kind of a virtual dj? As far as I know Media player and Itunes can't do this...anyone point me in the direction of anything?

Stuliasz Posted 1 December 2009 Share Posted 1 December 2009 I think Audacity is the best free solution out there. It rivals some of the paid solutions in the features it offers but without forking out cash, I don't think you'll find better.

BoneDog Posted 2 December 2009 Share Posted 2 December 2009 i use this, which is 'ok' but i'd be interested to know if anyone has a better one I've had that for a while and didn't know it could do so much stuff. Are those plug-in downloads on the Audacity page ok to use and don't mess up anything? I want the mp3 thing cos mine only exports as .wav at the minute.
