I wasn't sure what to expect when Pearson first made the signing - he was highly rated but relatively unknown. Another example of Pearson's astute judgment in the transfer market.

I was also surprised as it bypassed the majority of us. Maybe any deals or loan extensions can't be officially completed until the January transfer window reopens and both clubs have a verbal or written agreement in place which was leaked
