Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Not sure if many people have realised this? I didn't know about it. Please delete if it's common knowledge. http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/news/Leiceste...il/article.html Waghorn, whose loan spell from Sunderland has been extended until the end of the season, cuts a happy and contented figure at City. "I've loved it," he said. "As soon as I came here I felt welcome and scoring on my debut against Swansea in the first match of the season helped me massively. "I felt I was progressing really well so the suspension has come at the wrong time for me. I was enjoying playing on a regular basis. Now my loan spell has been extended so I hope to get a few more games under my belt."
Guest Mee-9 Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Made my day. Hopefully after his suspension, he'll be raring to go and grab more goals. Next Step : SIGN HIM PERMENANT
Hitesh Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 I read that and just thought I had missed out on the news. Typical OS keeping us informed! I wonder if he'll be allowed to play in the cup?!
Guest Mee-9 Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Leicester City have taken Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn on loan until January 11. From the OS. What to believe?
Guest Bilo Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Excellent news. Can tell the lad loves it here and has a big future in the game, would love to see the transfer become permanent.
Edmund Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Great news. Would be a great loss if he left and saves us a bit of dosh. I can't see us signing another striker until we get rid and even if DJ goes I doubt we will bring anyone in.

Good news even better knowing that Waggys contract runs out in the summer, is Pearson's plan to make waggy love it here so much that he dosnt sign a contract with Sunderland and sign for us free in the summer?

Surely it would have to go to a tribunal like N'Guessan?

I think his new leicester girlfriend who he seems to be pretty attached to might of helped too . Great news, great prospect, hopefully he can keep up the good form.

I didn't realise his contract was up in the summer. Great news but I'd be surprised if Sunderland aren't already tying him up with a new contract as part of the agreement to extend his loan with us.

Bert Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 A permanent move may be some distance down the line, but it is one that Waghorn would definitely consider."I would," he said. "I am enjoying my time here and feel very much part of the team, but I'll just have to see what happens."
