Neil_LCFC Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I never go to cup games if our opposition is in our league unless its forest or derby. So if we got Preston in the Semi's then QPR in the final you wouldn't go ?
Bellend Sebastian Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I couldn't help thinking, as I sat there in my West Stand vantage point whilst tucking into my prawn sandwich, that even though there was only 12,000 people present the atmosphere wasn't really any different to when there are twice as many in the ground. Not that it matters a jot, of course
acooling08 Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 So if we got Preston in the Semi's then QPR in the final you wouldn't go ? Firstly this is never gonna happen And secondly it's 50/50 over the final, wouldn't go to a semi against such boring opponents.
sbfox Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Firstly this is never gonna happen And secondly it's 50/50 over the final, wouldn't go to a semi against such boring opponents. Bull. Shit. You're saying that if City reach the semi-final of the FA Cup and we're drawn against QPR, you wouldn't go? Not really a City fan, or a football fan at all are you?
Neil_LCFC Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Firstly this is never gonna happen And secondly it's 50/50 over the final, wouldn't go to a semi against such boring opponents. When Portsmouth won the final they had 2 championship teams in the semis & final if I remember correctly so it could happen again .
Filbert_Ross Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 id rather pay £20 to see leicester beet a 'tinpot' team than pay £20 to get knocked out in a 'glamour tie'. 5 shit teams on the way to the final would do me.
