RAFRUDY Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 I think the attendence will be around the 12000 mark, what do you guys think? Was going to buy mine online but it says the price is £20 instead of £15 even though im a season ticket holder. Quite cheesed off about that. Anyone else had the same thing? So gonna get mine tomorrow on the gate. I predict 2-1 win for city!
Karljohn Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 Web sales always the same mate, never asks for ST reference number etc so requests full price. Im guessing 10700 tomorrow, was thinking earlier about the demise of the FA Cup and for me it started when Man United chose not to participate, then weakened teams, but to top it all what bugs me the most is the FA staging Semi finals at Wembley
BoneDog Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 I thought it would be around 17 or 18,000! Is it really gonna be so low?
leicesterseddon Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 I thought it would be around 17 or 18,000!Is it really gonna be so low? Probably. Most grounds up and down the country are half-empty for the 3rd round.
Craig Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 We got almost 16k for Palace last season with a much smaller away following than there'l be tomorrow. I'll go for 14k
Ultra Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 Swansea won't bring anywhere near what they did for the league game. But the estimate of 14k seems about right.

The reason the FA Cup is in decline is because of the hype around the Premier and Champions Leagues. Most Championship club fans, including ours, would prefer promotion to a decent cup run.
Rich Fox Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 Bin to lazy to get my ticket is it £15.00 if I buy my ticket tomorrow im a season ticket holder?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 Bought mine on Boxing Day, I'd say 14,000 seems about right.
haraven Posted 1 January 2010 Posted 1 January 2010 How about you all living in Leicestershire get down there and fill up Walkers? That would make some positive headlines ahead of the coming league games. Or am I asking too much? <_<

Unit Posted 2 January 2010 Posted 2 January 2010 I'm a season ticket holder and am not paying £20 for a home draw. However I will be attending in the form of an under 18 for £5. Genius.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 January 2010 Posted 2 January 2010 I'm going to this considering I have the Saturday off. Two City games in the space of seven days. The earth might implode.
philayres200 Posted 2 January 2010 Posted 2 January 2010 12,121 Bought my ticket 9.00 a.m. - £15 - season ticket holder. Ticket office told me about 12,000 gate.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 2 January 2010 Posted 2 January 2010 The season ticket thing was explained at the FCC meeting in September, and you can understand why they dropped it. When it was used in 2003, when Crewe came-a-visiting, the crowd was like 27,000, meaning the club still had to shell out for Crewe's gate receipts, costing about £80k (apparantly) Seriously not worth it. 12,000... it'll be VERY interesting if the same prices apply, but the opponent is Liverpool in the 4th round... Methinks some fans will be 'doing it' then
