Dr The Singh Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 If the country votes with the same % as the poll on Foxestalk, the following result will occur Liberal Democrats- 611 Seats Labour- 13 Seats Conservative- 3 Seats Other- 23 Seats Liberal Democrat majority of 572 seats I was expecting a 'Well Hung' parliament, seeing as there so many big cocks on this forum!!!
Guest DavidJCW Posted 29 April 2010 Posted 29 April 2010 It'll be interesting to see if tonight's debate will have any effect on polls...
Guest DavidJCW Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Just wondering whether another poll a couple of days before the election night would have been a better idea... many may have changed their minds after the final debate or subsequent days of campaigning. Oh well, we can always have another!
Jon the Hat Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 This may seem harsh again and you may be jesting but you're now coming across not only as an entrenched Tory but also a patronising twat and have done more to put me off voting Tory then anything else I've seen. I just hope you're jesting because I really used to like to hear your views on things. If it is becoming an X-factor type event blame the media and the inadequacies of the Tories and Labour to get their message across as they both have had equal, if not more opportunity. Either that, surprise, surprise perhaps these people don't actually like what they are offering. I was indeed jesting, although I don't entirely trust the snap polls after the debates. There is no doubt that Clegg has made the most of his opportunity, and to some extent my irritation with the resulting surge is as much frustration with Cameron's failure to win the argument as the Lib Dem policies themselves. The TV debate is certainly a very different game. Re reading my recent comments I can see your point, thanks for the heads up I do appreciate it.
Shrenchel Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Thought Cleggy was pretty shit on Thursday. When the other two parties were attacking the immigrant amnesty like it's something they'd never be caught bollock naked doing, fvck knows why he didn't point out that we already essentially have an anmesty in this country anyway. Immigrants that have been here unlwafully for 14 years are given permanent residence under the current system. The Lib Dem's plan would be a two year reduction on this but because of the stricter rules regarding language skills etc which are not a condition at all of the current system, probably wouldn't actually lead to any increase at all. Not exactly sure which of the parties introdcued the current system but clearly it was one of the two acting like the Lib Dems policy was complete bobbins.
