The 2nd leg is tomorrow. Do you think maybe it's time this thread finishes and we start supporting NP rather than getting on his back?

i'm not getting on his back - i'm just pointing out to the poster i quoted that there were other options that Kermorgant up-front with waghorn.

i agree i think n'guessan shud be up front with waggy, cardiff are a big strong side and n'guessan is a match for them, hes strong and not too bad with the feet ,also, he keeps at it, get the 4-4-2 back and we have a real good chance to pull this back....

Before you all get started, I love Pearson and think he's done a brilliant job since taking over. But today, he got it wrong badly:

- Changed a winning team in great form.

- Started with 1 up front at home - why??

- Played Waghorn who is 5ft 9 against 6ft 5 defenders and then played the long ball tactic.

- Brought a clearly unfit Fryatt on who had no effect apart from miss a simple chance.

- Left it far too late to bring Kermo, Dany on.

Sort it out for Wednesday Pearson! If we are at our best we can do it.

To be honest and fair to your manager I think he did do his homework as we've often struggled against sides that play 4-3-3.I don't think he'll play it the same way again as now you've got that big fella avaliable again it will be a totally different game.He made a big difference when he came on against us last time he played and I don't think that will be lost on your manager.

Your comments are spot on.

Also Leicester are the least dynamic of the 4 clubs in the playoffs. Our result show this, as there are very few big wins, but very few big losses, we are just a consistant side which tends to plod along week in and week out . Its now going to be very VERY hard to just change that for one game and produce something we frankly have'nt seen all season. I would hold out more hope for us if we were the type of team who gets smashed 5-0 one week, and turn that on its head and win 5-0 the next with a sensational stunning performance a "Dynamic Performance" but that has never happens under Pearsons watch, what we get is consistancy week in week out.. To get through Wedesday night we need to see a level of performance we have never seen from a Pearson team, being "consistant Leicester " is going to be nowhere near good enough. Come on Leicester. :scarf:

So what do you figure getting trounced 3-0 by WBA, then beating QPR 4-0 is? Or getting beaten comprehensively at Forest, then winning 3-0 at home? If you look at results we're as 'dynamic' as someone like Blackpool.

a stonewall penalty or three not given, a free kick not taken at point of infringement , an open goal missed by a striker who is clearly playing out of his depth in this level of competition and a jammy save by their keeper at the end of the game from King is all it took for us to lose that game..

whats the odds we can't have the same bad fortune on wednesday???

gotta agree with you....

Fryatt looks devoid of confidence and is a confidence player so he's gotta be dropped - we had NO aerial thret until Danny came on - I hope Pearson starts with Steve and Wags with Kermo playing just off the front two

really? 12 goals in the first half of the season is playing out of your depth is it? Do you not think it might be more to do with the fact he's played about an hour of comeptitive football in the last 3 months?

Well I dont agree with you,I dont think we would of come back against Forest like they did last night (No-way).

But we wil see how dynamic Leicester City are tonight lol.

Some people on this board are expecting a miracle, but thats simply not going to happen, Pearson has talked it up about it "Only being harftime" but most people know he blew it with the nagative tactics in the 1st leg, teams dont win big away from home in the championship play offs.(THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED)

Personally I wont be watching or listening to it as I think its done and dusted. People may not agree, but I dont think we will be saying anything more tomorrow than, "Gallent effort City but you blew it in the 1st leg with your negative performance"
