davieG Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 WALES midfielder Andy King has added to John Toshack's injury problems by pulling out of the squad to face Croatia in a friendly on May 23. The Leicester City midfielder has withdrawn from the squad due to a hamstring injury he sustained in the Foxes' extra-time Championship play-off defeat to Cardiff City on Wednesday. MikeyT Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Shame for the lad after everything these past few days. Hope he's ok soon.
lcfc_jme Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Unlucky that for King, he'd surely have been odds-on to make a start and a potential claim for future squads by performing well. Just a bad way to compound an awful few days for the lad.
Guest Bilo Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Unfortunate but he'll be a mainstay of that squad in time to come if he carries on progressing at the rate he has been.
