shimoney maloney Posted 18 May 2005 Posted 18 May 2005 I know it is a long way off and alot is going to happen over the summer but what are people thinking would be acceptable next year and where do you think we will come. Personally with a few shrewd signings i think that we could be hitting the playoffs, what do you think?
shen Posted 18 May 2005 Posted 18 May 2005 With our wage budget still being in the top 5 in the League next year, and with ambitious players and manager, it should be possible to reach the playoffs. I think much hinges on the pre-season. We're obviously short in some areas on the pitch, and we will need strengthening, but most importantly, CL has to make his ideas clear to the players so that everyone is pulling in the same direction.

Pre-season hasn't started yet and you already expect us to have signed all the new players for next season?
filbertway Posted 18 May 2005 Posted 18 May 2005 I said top ten would be acceptable, i would like to see us up in the top 6 at the end of the season, but top 10 will be acceptable.
