dog_4 Posted 18 May 2005 Posted 18 May 2005 some of our fans speak shit saying our team is average and poor and levein will go etc. people were sayin levein hadn't improved anything since he came dispite the fact we are now startin to play footy on the deck. Also he has put a younger side together in a short space of time. we have a very very highly rated talent in stearman. levein tactics are spot on ,we went to charlton and won for instance. just having a go at individuals who tink leicester aren't going places. i think we can and we will. bring on next season i say

Over-optimism is what led to Micky's downfall so personally I think it's healthier for people to be more realistic this season. I do see improvement but it is quite minor and who knows what we're going to play like next season with probably about 6-7 new players? We could take this league by storm or we could just manage a top half of the table finish (something I see likely with 3 good teams coming down plus teams like Ipswich, Derby and Reading probably still around the top half). I think your optimism is commendable as long as it doesn't turn sour when things don't go as you expect them to.
step Posted 18 May 2005 Posted 18 May 2005 We do have an excelent selection of players and I have no doubt CL will bring in a few others that will do the job. But there is one major problem with our squad and if CL does not deal with this problem we will bottom half again. We will defend well We will have/ have some creative midfielders CL like playing wide so that area will be covered. BUT and it is a very big BUT. WE DONT HAVE A EFFING GOAL SCORER. CL please dont bury your head in the sand and hope that Connelly and MDV come good. My club is worth more to me than that
C-man Posted 19 May 2005 Posted 19 May 2005 just having a go at individuals who tink leicester aren't going places. i think we can and we will. bring on next season i say maybe if: - we get a better defence, - new striker who can score 20 goals a season and someone supporting him with around 15, - A winger who can cross the ball, i.e not danny tiatto - we start winning most of our games at home Then, and only then, will we have a chance of promotion - so next year is not a possibility as we dont have the transfer budget to bring in those sort of players
