Tilley Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Quick question.... There is four games a day next week, I think it is Tuesday onwards.. With two at 3pm and two at 7.30pm because they are the last fixtures in the groups so have to be played simultaneously. How does this work with tv coverage? Will one be on the main channel and one on red button?
Tilley Posted 19 June 2010 Author Posted 19 June 2010 Perhaps one on BBC, one on ITV? This is a davieG post from 'World Cup Facts and Figures' thread. Tuesday 22.06.10 1500 Mexico v Uruguay ITV 1500 France v South Africa ITV 1930 Nigeria v South Korea BBC 1930 Greece v Argentina BBC Wednesday 23.06.10 1500 Slovenia v England BBC 1500 USA v Algeria BBC 1930 Ghana v Germany ITV 1930 Australia v Serbia ITV Thursday 24.06.10 1500 Slovakia v Italy ITV 1500 Paraguay v New Zealand ITV 1930 Denmark v Japan BBC 1930 Cameroon v Holland BBC Friday 25.06.10 1500 Portugal v Brazil BBC 1500 North Korea v Ivory Coast BBC 1930 Chile v Spain ITV 1930 Switzerland v Honduras ITV
dandannieldanok Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 I think the channel which has the rights to both fixtures will either just show the one they think is the best game, or show both with the best game on either BBC1 or ITV1 and the other on BBC3 or ITV4.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 According to the authority that is What's On TV BBC show one on BBC1 and the other on red button (so no chance of recording the other <_< ) or BBC3. ITV will be on ITV 1 & 4
