nuttytimmy Posted 17 July 2010 Posted 17 July 2010 It's that time of year again where I have some time on my hands and access to a PC with some form of photo software. So, here's this season's fixtures wallpapers made by yours truly. The choice, this year, is more limited than last I'm afraid, mainly because I'm now using The GIMP instead of Fireworks or PhotoShop and I've not learnt it properly yet. I have still managed to create some wallpapers though, in a variety of sizes, that can all be accessed on yFrog. Here's the lineup (these are hotlinked 1024x768 versions, so apologies if they fail to appear and/or are apparently low quality. Go to yFrog for a bigger range of resolutions): Plain Walkers backdrop: Sousa: Fox Hunt: A word on the Fox Hunt wallpaper: the images on the OS are not in the least bit large and so I've opted not to create this one in the biggest size. Sorry if you've got a massive monitor and like the girl. Unfortunately the OS also seems to only have her in the 125 years home strip and not in the black at all - hence the use of last year's pic again. If anyone has any (high res) pics they think would be suitable to include then let me know and I'll see what I can do. And I'll keep working with The GIMP to hopefully make a few better wallpapers before the season starts. In the mean time, pimp up your desktop and enjoy!

DB11 Posted 17 July 2010 Posted 17 July 2010 Just a point; most people have desktop icons on the left and near the top, so perhaps you could put the fixtures on the right hand side or near the bottom? The one I had last year was like this.

But for now, here's a plain one and a plain stadium one - with the fixtures on the right. Also, the ladies are now available in full 1920x1080 (1080p, full HD) resolution. Enjoy. If anyone wants other sizes, let me know and I'll produce them. The ones on yFrog should either fit or will squash down to most resolutions however.

Oh, and for 1366x768, the 1920x1080 resolution images are the same aspect ratio (ie. 16:9) and will resize correctly using the "Stretch" (possibly called "Fit" before Windows 7?) option when setting your wallpaper.

Oh yeah.. Fits good now Urmm... My fav players are Fryatt and Hobbs- they're probably the most popular.

So unless you want him in a Blackburn shirt on your lovely Foxes wallpaper... Fryatt: Hobbs: Full selection on ImageShack, as I've got problems with yFrog. If anyone is having difficulty getting hold of the images from yFrog I'll put everything on ImageShack instead. And for Steve Walsh fans:
