City Lad Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 This report hit me just how simular results this year are to last! We just got all the bad ones at the start of the season. Playoffs here we com ....If you take West Brom, the second promoted team last year, and replace them with Burnley, the second relegated team from the same year, the scorelines are identical. Leicester lost 3-0 at The Hawthorns, with a late goal in the first half proving the turning point, and fell to the precisely same fate at Turf Moor. When Reading visited the Walkers Stadium in mid-March they overturned the Foxes by two goals to one with Glyfi Sigurdsson being the difference between the two sides with a late goal. Matt Mills played that role this season with a late, thumping header. At the Ricoh, under Pearson, Leicester fell behind, against the run of play, to a curled free kick in the first half. After a period of huffing and puffing, Leicester pulled one back in the 71st minute after Waghorn’s superb, volleyed effort. This year, under Sousa, Leicester fell behind, against the run of play, to a headed goal in the first half. After a period of huffing and puffing, Leicester pulled one back in the 76th minute after Andy King’s exquisite lob. Sound familiar? Whether or not this trend continues, it proves that Sousa has not sent the Foxes on a collision course with devolution.... Link Didn't we beat both Cardiff and QPR at home last year?!!
Fleckney Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 Will be expecting 6 points then The performance yesterday reassured me that we'll be okay tbh. We rarely do well against Reading and have never won at Covscum so I suppose we should have expected this form. Paulo will do the business
Neil_LCFC Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 What about we beat Middlesborough at home last year and only drew this year ?
Lisburn Fox Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 What about we beat Middlesborough at home last year and only drew this year ? We had the Kermit way back then
Matt Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 End of the season, Middlesborough season was over couldn't go up couldn't go down, we were in the playoffs and on a good run
James. Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Whether or not this trend continues, it proves that Sousa has not sent the Foxes on a collision course with devolution.... Correction, it proves absolutely fuck all.
irDeano Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 What about we beat Middlesborough at home last year and only drew this year ? and we beat Crystal Palace away last season but lost 3-2 this season...
