Clive Redman Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Steve Walsh gives his views on Nigel Pearson's return to the Walkers Stadium this weekend... "I’m confident that Nigel Pearson will get a great reception on Saturday and I think he deserves a standing ovation to be honest. He dragged Leicester City out of the depths of despair, and League One, and transformed us into a team challenging for promotion to the Premier League, inside two seasons. That is an achievement we should never forget. I’m sure that if circumstances had been slightly different, Nigel would’ve preferred to have stayed at the club. He was building something here and I could only see us progressing further with him in charge, but it’s important to look to the future now and I’m confident we’ve got the right man in charge." Jiggers the Fox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 I know Hull don't have the best away record, but losing 4-0 away to themselves is ridiculous
AmyLGK Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 I know Hull don't have the best away record, but losing 4-0 away to themselves is ridiculous I'm glad someone else picked up on: "It will be a tough test for the lads as Pearson is bound to have his team well-organised and extremely fit, but Hull have leaked a few goals away from home this season, including 4-0 thumpings at Millwall and Hull." WTF!
davbison Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 I noticed that as well. Walshy never was the sharpest tool in the box!
Jiggers the Fox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Think he must mean Burnley. Easy mistake.
