Webbo Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 what i've seen of Abe suggests that he is probably one of the most technically proficient players we have had since muzzy, granted he probably looks nervy now and again, but it doesn't help when he is overlooked on free kicks for the atrocious waghorn. I hope you're right but what I've seen of him doesn't suggest that at all.

Lillehamring Posted 25 October 2010 Author Posted 25 October 2010 we've conceded a fair few goals from long-range, because we haven't been getting tight enough. A defensive midfielder would solve that and provide more support to the defence while playing higher up the pitch (not that they've actually been doing that from what i've seen this season) we also conceded a lot of goals last season from long range, as poor as we seem to be at closing down, i'm concerned that this might be down in quite a large part to weale. tonight will be interesting to see how sven feels about our centre mid, with oakley out, i guess he'll just go with wellens and king and 2 wingers.

When I saw Yuki walking away and Oakley standing behind the ball I had a good look around the stadium for Jeremy Beadle.
