Just shows how even local media will broadcast any s*** to create a reaction or sell papers gain listeners etc. Let's not make the mistake the national media has made with the England team. Our local station should be supporting us, STOP giving the miniscule minority a voice!!

Beware the irony before you try and tell me that 'this is different, Sven hasn't been given a chance' etc. When it was Sousa we were 'the same side that were challenging for promotion under Nigel Pearson', now it's Sven we're 'the same bunch of monkeys we were under Sousa' Fickle what now?

Last night's side featured Lamey, Vitor, Abe and Moussa. Not to mention the likes of Logan and Neilson that played very rarely last season. Not really the same side that was challenging last season is it?

Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 I loved the guy from Queniborough (but NOT as it happened) who was spitting fury. How does he expect a team that has not played under Sven (and for about half the team last night it was their 1st outting under Sven) to perform against one of the form teams in the Premiership? Apparently (I wasn't there) we played some good stuff. Then there was Logan's dreadful gaff, the fragile confidence shattered and it was bye bye City. I was one of the few people disappointed by Sousa's sacking, but now we have Sven, I'm right behind him. I think he's doing well and that all we need is a few results to fall our way to build the confidence and we will be away and moving up the table... though I think the same could have happened for Sousa. Four matches in (and it would seem, in my opinion, that Sven was having a bit of an experiment last night) and people are already calling for his head. I bet that when they have moved jobs they have always become 100% proficient at it within 3 weeks. Morons!

After all; it's only a couple of weeks since Radio Leicester gave the EDL airtime to say that Leicester city centre allows recruitment for the Taliban every week. Shut up you twit, what has that got to do with it? I wish people would stop going on about EDL! What about airtime other groups have? My personal opinion is these people turn up 'extremist Muslims' at the homecoming parades of men and women that risk there lives for this country & they abuse them! The old bill do nothing to stop this, so some people did the right thing by going to these parades to show support for are troops and if needed try to stop this from happening everywhere. After that the EDL has got out of hand and can no longer serve that perpose. It did manage to stop these cowards ' Muslim extremists' from turning up as much and as often as they would like to! RANT OVER Back to the subject, your always gonna get these idiots on the radio moaning about the club and how we should sack Sven while we are having a bad run. Part of the reason were in this state is because of all the chopping and changing that's been going on since milan came here. Give the bloke a chance.

You are of course right, though if you read my post again you might see that it's completely irrelevant to what I posted. The point i was making is that we need to be patient, but then that's what i thought when people were calling for Sousa's head - i find it slightly amusing that some people here are calling for patience when they were the same 'sousa out' brigade when he had hardly been given a chance. We are where we are, i'm happy to have Sven as manager despite not being particularly happy about the road we took to get here. I just hope some people realise it takes time to build a squad, and that requires a bit of patience on behalf of the fans - i think we got that wrong with Sousa, and i just hope we don't do it again because we're not going to pull in a manager like Sven next time. Not to mention WBA are on fire at the moment, so all in all it's not a great result, but not really surprising - let's get behind the boys on saturday and stop setting our expectations so ridiculously high!
