ozleicester Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 To be fair, i prefer Stringer to barber... but i would actually love it if Stringer commentated the game as it happens, so often it seems that commentators now are so used to everyone seeing the game, thye dont seem to need to describe it... of course this is not the case when im listening to RL or foxes player. To often the commentary runs like...... " yes that gentleman is enjoying a sweet whilst wearing his woolen hat, Oh and waghorn is in!...he"s hit the bar!!!" in a perfect world... the commentary would go something like... ."Berner has it deep in defence, 15 yard pass to Abe, who, in the middle of the park, turns...beats his man and pushes the ball wide to Gallagher, gally pushes the ball past Smith then, a tight pass has put Waghorn through...waghorn from 12 yards hits it and... ITS INNNNNNNNNNNN!!!" too much to ask?
