CosbehFox Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 Cunningham 6.5 - Seems good on the ball but I'm not sure about him defensively. Everything good about Bristol came from our left. Mainly cos by far their best player was on the right wing. Adomah is a real bargain for note. Rose and Caulker look hideously over-rated by England and Spurs. Howard - 6. Sorry to disagree with a lot of you Foxes, but, I cannot really see what he is about? Reminds us a lot of Parkin from Preston (Who we had at the Gate a couple of weeks back and I am sorry to say looked a better player despite being built like an aircraft carrier!!! Rumour has it that Parkin was spotted in the KFC just outside the ground about an hour after the final whistle buying FOUR Bargain Buckets for the long journey back oo'p north) He really did not look that confident with the penalty - which ultimately probably decided the game and we were surprised Gallagher didnt take it and then in the second half he seemed more intent on trying to pick a fight with our central defenders than playing football??? Also when he was subbed he made himself look like a petulant kid the way he threw the captains armband away??? Perhaps he was showing his frustration. Some of his flick-on headers were brilliant, right in between two defenders asking for someone to run on them. Penalty yes very bad but a couple of superb passes towards Vassell in the first half plus the pass to King to win the penalty. There were as good as any on the day (passes). He didn't throw the armband away like a kid, he threw to save time and something as light as that wasn't going to reach. Tbf, the central defenders thing I can half-understand albeit stupid after Caulker's boardline assualt about ten minutes in which a very lenient ref let go (the game was better for the ref's attitude however). Disappointed in Naughton myself I really rate the kid but he sort of panicked in the last twenty esp. after his poor pass when he got behind the defence. Similarly Davies was caught far too casual at times and Waghorn I honestly believe to be on worse than Fryatt on current form. I am a Weale defender. I think he's a reasonable keeper, he's conceded something like 62 goals in 60 games for us which is a fine record as Logan in comparison is woeful. But deary me, that second was a nightmare.
