Yorkshire Blue Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Sorry if this one has already been covered, or needs merging I was just wondering what everyone thinks the defence will look like after the January transfer window. The only defenders that will 100% be here due to wanting regular football assurances, loans expiring and injuries are Hobbs, Bamba, Mee and Tunchev who is obviously not fit. Morrison and Berner are strongly linked to other clubs and Naughton is as likely to return to Spurs or be sold as he is to stay with us. This leaves us looking extremely bare, and I'm sure Sven will be looking at other players but nothing can be guaranteed as teams like Cardiff and QPR will look to hi-jack the deals with anyone who's worth having. The end of the transfer window can and will come around quickly and we could be left short. Before anyone mentions the need to buy strikers being more of a priority, I totally agree with you but the lack of defenders could prove slightly more costly. IN SVEN WE TRUST

We'll see what happens when I pick the balls." - :sge: Glad you could clear this one up so quickly Would be pretty pointless choosing 4 balls from a bag of 4 wouldn't it? Also, who knows who'll be in the bag Just wanted to see others' opinions on it 'cos it had me thinking.

Sadly any team Lamey is in looks like conceding bucketloads, good job we've got an easy game and not anyone like Man City or anything

We also have Neilson, ok not great but better than Lamey IMO
