hey there foxes.... just to say i thought u was brilliant tonight!! played some really good football at times :D

mary d's looks a shithole from the outside but on the inside it is really good (obviously not for away fans).... there was a pub called the counting house in leicester near morrisons that was taken over by city fans and just wondering weather or not that was a "home" pub.... because i saw lots of paintings and posters about leicester?

ur fans were brilliant today!!! (exept 10-20 pricks on the front row of the top tier giving it large)

anyway good luck in the future foxes !!!! :)

No - in fact the Counting House is recognised as a pub where away fans are welcome, although there are obviously always home fans in there. It's also the designated 'away fans pub' if you get a police escort. By all accounts it's quite a friendly atmosphere in there. The paintings and posters probably just reflect the fact the pub is in...Leicester.

The strictly 'home' pubs are those closest to the ground - particularly the F-Bar, Halftime Orange (members-only) and a few others, where you wouldn't really get in as an away fan.

Went Mary D's after the game obviously not in colours and with a couple of Man City mates. Absolute class place, seemed like literally a shrine for all things Man city, Whole wall painting of Maine Road, DJ playing the songs to all their chants, bags of singing and all proper genuine fans. Would kill for a place like that near the Walkers Stadium.

Mary D's literally looks like a place you'd get rabies from just by walking into it. Seeing some of the folk coming out of there though, it's not as rough as some of the stories make it out to be. Sounds class how Tommeh's described it, though.

Aside from that, enjoying the compliments about our football and support; thought both were good today aside from the mishap I mentioned in the other thread. Thought we looked better as a footballing side when Howard went off (not that he ever came on, really) and Waghorn replaced him; Waghorn did more against their CBs than Howard could even dream of.

Someone really should buy The Victory or somewhere.
