Head Honcho Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 An artiicle on the pp website about our chances tonight. Yakubu's loan move from Everton to Leicester came as bit of a surprise to us. However, with the collective bargaining power of Sven and an unlimited amount of Walkers crisps, the Yak was always going to be tempted. The 28 year old, "albeit a Nigerian 28", is plying his trade with the Foxes, boosting profits in the local McDonalds and marked his debut with a goal against Preston. "The quality Yakubu has is incredible," Eriksson told someone. With Yak in the team, can Leicester outfox Man City in their FA Cup replay? Bit of homework wouldn't have gone amiss..........................he ain't even on the 1st goalscorer betting list so he didn't have to look far
Jimothy Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 A few weeks back I went on Paddy Power looking at the City first goalscorer odds. They had Aman Verma as favourite. I emailed them saying he never even gets near the bench let alone scored. They replied saying they were happy with their odds.
Cal Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Walked by a bookies on monday, they had Dzeko as 3/1 favourite to score 1st .
ajthefox Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 they probably do it deliberately so some planks go along and bet, win win for the bookies..
