Marcoos Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 No idea of the year but we played Newcastle when Keegan was playing for them. Drew 2-2 and got hooked...
Teeno Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 I'll do a quiz. give me a day to put questions together.
Guest Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 Leicester City versus West Brom in the Anglo Italian Cup or summat, 93/94. 12257 I'm sure i went to that, might be thinking of another game but wasn't it the shittest game ever something like 0-0??????? 12265 Yes, it was 0-0. The attendance was about 2,000, or something pathetic like that. There was a torrential downpour, with thunder and lightening before the game, and they wouldn't open the turnstiles for the Kop, in case the match was called off. I was soaked!
Guest Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 My first game was 1st January 1991. After 17 years of begging to go to football games, my mother finally relented, and I attended the home game against WBA, which we won 2-1, after being a goal down at half-time. Waslh equalised, and Tony James scored the winner, if memory serves me well. And before anyone says anything, as soon as I was 16, and old enough to do what I wanted, I got a saturday job, so was unable to go to games anyway. In fact, it was because of this game I had to leave my saturday job, as my employers were not impressed. Miserable gits.
Guest Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 Can't remember when it was or the score but it was Newcastle at home and Pavel Srnicek was sent off. 12230 That would be our first ever Premiership game, back in 1994. We lost 3-1, and if I remember rightly, Julian Joachim scored our first ever Premiership goal. Srnicek was later sent off for a foul on Joachim, I think.

Cobbo Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 I hated the 94-95 season so much. We were so so bad. One of the summer signings to try and keep us up was Nicky Mohan....nearly made me cry.
Mark Posted 18 August 2004 Author Posted 18 August 2004 That was my first season as a season ticket holder David Lowe scored a class goal that season
Cobbo Posted 18 August 2004 Posted 18 August 2004 Joachim scored a gudden in that game too - twas by far the highlight of the season (would say the saints was close, but no one likes Spurs..and the 4-4 at Villa ) both Lowe's and Julian's goals were on the selection for goal of the month! marvelous. other than them though, pretty much utter pants.
