LCFCmatt Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Please can i have some help from you guys. Safari has started mucking up and i need to turn it off to put it back to normal... but my sleep/lock button on the top has been pushed in too much that it won't turn off! I've searched through the internet but there aren't any decent suggestions. Any help will be appreciated
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Happened to my sister's new nano, the ultra tiny square one. She just had to take it back to the apple shop I'm afraid. Apparently a common fault.
LCFCmatt Posted 13 February 2011 Author Posted 13 February 2011 Plugged it into docking station and safari is working again but it still won't turn off. Might as well save up for a 4g, then
JoeS Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 I had same problem on iPhone 3GS, it's due to moisture deep inside your iPod that messes it up due to condensation or being exposed in a humid climate. Try the apple shop , I got mine replaced. If not I read something about an app that can switch off for you if you jail break it . ( not necessarily recommending this). I also looked at repair and I think apple charge around £120 with other shops charging £40 but it's more dodgy!

Anyway, I'm definately getting a 4g for my birthday next thursday, so I'll be ok
