Leicester will take a closer look at Tasos Lagos after Panathinaikos's Greece Under-19 star accepted a trial with the club.

The Greek midfielder, who can also play in central defence, is expected to touch down in England over the weekend before embarking on a week-long trial.

The 18-year-old signed a three-year professional deal with Panathinaikos in December 2009 but has struggled to break into the first-team.

Foxes boss Sven-Goran Eriksson sees potential in the Greece Under-19 international and could secure his services for a small fee this summer.
