Carl Ikeme- Woeful, but then we saw that when he played for QPR last season.

Chris Kirkland- Poor.

Kyle Naughton- Superb.

Curtis Davies- Showed some quality and struggled at other times.

Miguel Vitor- Generally impressive, shame we haven't seen enough of him.

Ben Mee- Very good, after a dreadful debut.

Jeffrey Bruma- Not been great, couple of excellent performances.

Patrick Van Aanholt- Not been all that impressed, fabulous goal v Burnley.

Greg Cunningham- I liked him, real shame he suffered the injury.

Diomansy Kamara- Brilliant against Burnley, not been the same in other matches.

Yakubu- Started wonderfully, goal at Derby was class, hit and miss since then but showed what he can do on Monday.

Ikeme and Kirkland - Misses both. Why is it so difficult for us to get a confident, competent GK? At least Ikeme has the excuse that he came in a crisis, with injury to Weale and the club imploding.

Bruma, Mee, Cunningham, PVA - So-So. Other than the lack of keeper talent, surely our biggest problem this year has been disorganised and naive defending, with constant changes in back 4 lineup. Having said that I think any of them (preferably the Man C boys) returning next season will be far better players - it would be a right beggar if some other championship club got them having gained experience at our expense.

Naughton - Hit. Deservedly popular, and probably player of the season. Like Hobbsy last year, for all that has screwed-up with disastrous results (1st Watford goal for e.g.) surprisingly frequently - so still not the finished article.

Davies - So-so. Good signing on paper and started well. Feels like he was just using us as a shop window, but if he had stayed (or signed permanently) who knows?

Vitor - Hit. Proof that Sousa could occasionally get things right. What a truly successful loanee should be, finishing the season stronger and more accomplished than he started. Again, if he'd done the full season we might have been up with the play-off teams at the very least.

Kamara - Hope to be a hit by the end of the season. If he can do what he did against Burnley, surely a player to sign.

Yakubu - Hit. Probably the best goalscorer we have had since Tony Cottee. Unlike TC, I think the years and injuries catching up with him have left him unable to adjust, and I wonder if half a season is as much as we can reasonably expect. Nervous that SGE will spend most of our close season transfer budget on him.

Bednar - Miss. Even looked crap in the half hour against Donny. What must Big Stevie and Waggy have thought, that Sven preferred that lump to them?
