purpleronnie Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 You never been elland rd then? I did see the player at the end, though it looked more like the steward wouldnt allow him back on the pitch with the kid. As for the stewards there, theyre all like that.i got thrown out there before for refusing to sit down. (No-one behind me for 5 rows and on the 6th row the fans were sticking up for me) Its almost as if because the stewards are working at the home of the fa they have to try and implement the rules as much as possible. Its that bad that I hope city never have to play there as being made to sit would ruin it completely Its always a problem when there is only a few standing, they wouldn't ask 1000's of utd or leeds fans to sit, strength in numbers.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Well its the same for england games, though the majority sit then too. If england fans could come up with a section where they could agree where to all go the stewards wouldnt have a chance. Unfortunately yesterday brought the types of fans who know no better than to listen to the stewards

Stuliasz Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 The stewards really did do their best to dampen the atmosphere as much as possible yesterday. The standing/sitting debacle aside, the attempts to physically block Jerome Murdock bringing his very young kid on to the pitch at the end were seriously out of order, god knows who they think they are. The performance was epic though. Whitley did look dangerous when they countered but still didn't create nearly as much as Coalville who dominated possession and played some quality stuff. Still, shows you have to take your chances at any level to be successful and I'm sure Matt Moore will be replaying some of his missed sitters over in his head for some time to come.
Newcastle_Fox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Was at the game too yesterday, coalville town can stand proud for their efforts, on another day they would have won if it wasnt for their keeper and the woodwork!
