Turtles Head Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Moving out, away from the mrs for a year or so. Need a laptop, nothing too expensive. Want it to run FM fast, skype and internet, not much more. I've seen ebay have some 50% off deals every now and then but i've no idea on the spec i'll require. Any tips would be great. Ta

Assumed there would be other threads with the same question being asked, but not with somebody having exactly the same requirements. Still, doesn't hurt to ask again to see if anybody has seen a good deal recently.

DB11 Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 If you want to run FM fast you should be looking at dual core processors and I'd personally go for 2gb RAM. 1gb is the recommended for the operating system alone.
